When Ventus released the original One, it quickly turned heads. Here was a lightweight, aggressively-priced electric dirt bike with a 28 kW punch, fully tunable electronics, and serious trail ambitions. It wasn’t perfect—but it was fun, fast, and easy to customize.
With the new Ventus One Plus , the goal wasn’t to rip up the blueprint and start over. Instead, it was to address real-world feedback from riders who pushed the One to its limits.
This isn’t a radical redesign. It’s a focused evolution—one that takes the strong foundation of the original bike and polishes it into something truly trail-ready out of the box.
Listening to Riders, Fixing the Right Things
What did riders say about the original Ventus One?
“It’s fast, but the front end feels low and twitchy.”
“Brakes fade on big descents.”
“Stock suspension is a bit basic for rough terrain.”
“I love the power, but the chassis needs to keep up.”
The One Plus is Ventus’s direct answer to those points.
⚡️Brakes That Keep Up
If you’re riding aggressively, you need brakes that don’t fade when they get hot. The original One’s small-piston setup worked, but had its limits.
The One Plus fixes this with:
Larger piston design
30% bigger pad contact area
Heat resistance boosted from ~70 °C to 160 °C
Result? Harder, more consistent stopping even on steep descents or heavy tracks.
⚡️Suspension: A Serious Upgrade
Suspension is often what separates an entry-level dirt bike from a pro-level machine. The original One used a simpler FastAce fork that was fine for lighter duty but could get overwhelmed on harder hits.
The One Plus steps up with RFloXa’s new Pro-grade suspension:
Front: RFloXa FCG31RVP fork with stiffer, larger-diameter tubes for better stability. High- and low-speed damping adjustability. Low-friction coatings keep the stroke smooth even in nasty conditions.
Rear: RFloXa RAB50RC shock with oil-gas separation and an external nitrogen reservoir, keeping damping consistent under heat. More tuning range means you can actually dial it for your weight and style.
These upgrades don’t just feel better—they unlock the bike’s real potential on technical trails.
⚡️Stronger Wheels for Serious Riding
The original bike’s traditional J-bend spoke wheels were fine for moderate use, but prone to loosening and fatigue over time.
The One Plus switches to a straight-pull spoke design that’s about 50% stronger, offering:
Less spoke loosening
Greater stiffness and durability
Less maintenance over time
⚡️Drivetrain Improvements for Real-World Abuse
Ventus kept its belt-drive system (because riders love its quiet, low-maintenance feel) but upgraded the materials:
VTB Gen 2 carbon-fiber belt: Stronger, more stretch-resistant
Carbon steel pulley: More durable under high torque loads
This translates to better reliability for riders who really push their bikes.
⚡️Same Motor, Same Power—Still Highly Tunable
One thing Ventus didn’t change? The power system.
That’s a good thing. The original 28 kW peak motor and 72V battery are fast, responsive, and fully customizable via the Ventus app. Riders get:
Multiple ride modes (Sport, Boost, Eco, etc.)
Customizable throttle response
Adjustable regenerative braking (up to 25A)
Drive Level tuning
It’s one of the most flexible e-moto powertrains in the price class.
⚡️The Final Touches: Geometry and Setup
Ventus also listened to feedback about stock geometry. Riders said the front end felt too low and the cockpit cramped.
They recommend:
RFloXa Max Clamp (drop crown): Raises the front end for better balance.
Wider handlebars with new clamp: More comfortable hand position without feeling cramped.
Dunlop MX34 front tire: Taller (about 2” higher than stock) for better grip and front-end feel.
These aren’t mandatory upgrades, but they transform the bike from “good” to “fantastic” if
you’re riding hard.
⚡ The Verdict: It’s Not a Redesign. It’s a Refinement.
The Ventus One Plus shows what can happen when a company listens to its riders.
✅ It doesn’t change what was already good: the power, the app-based tuning, the lightweight feel.
✅ It fixes the real-world weaknesses: suspension, brakes, wheels, drivetrain durability.
✅ It makes smart geometry tweaks that unlock better control and confidence.
For anyone who liked the One but wanted it just a bit tougher, more capable, and more confidence-inspiring—the One Plus is exactly that bike.
It’s still fast. It’s still fun. But now, it’s ready for serious riding right out of the box.
“The Ventus One Plus isn’t about reinventing the wheel. It’s about making sure that wheel is perfectly true, perfectly round, and ready for whatever you throw at it.”
